How much are US residential proxies per GB?

At FiftyStateProxy, 1 GB of US residential traffic costs $1.50, and the 1 TB plan brings it to $0.52/GB (October 2026 prices). Four of our seven residential plans, from 5 GB to 100 GB, share one rate: $0.75/GB, half the per-GB price of the 1 GB plan. The 500 GB plan drops to $0.56/GB.

Targeting never adds a fee. A gigabyte routed through one ZIP code costs exactly what a nationwide gigabyte costs. Prepaid residential and rotating-mobile traffic never expires: unused GB stay on your account until you use them.

Every plan and product sits on one page: how much do US residential proxies cost. To place these prices against other providers, read the US proxy price index.

Which US states can I target?

You can target all 50 US states and Washington, D.C. with any FiftyStateProxy residential plan; the list below groups them by Census region. Put the two-letter code in the username, such as state-tx for Texas or state-oh for Ohio. Each state page lists its main cities, home ISPs and their ASNs.

Can I target a US city, ZIP code or ISP?

Yes. City, ZIP code and ASN targeting come with every FiftyStateProxy residential plan, at the same per-GB price. The location goes in the proxy username, built from USERNAME-country-{cc}-state-{state}-city-{city}-zip-{zip}-asn-{asn}-session-{id}-ttl-{minutes}. Drop every segment you do not need.

  • City: state-tx-city-houston keeps exits inside Houston.
  • ZIP code: zip-10001 asks for IPs geolocated to Chelsea, Manhattan.
  • ASN: asn-7922 limits exits to Comcast's home network.

The narrower the filter, the fewer IPs are online for it, so test ZIP and ASN filters on the 1 GB plan first. City availability varies from place to place. 30 large cities have their own page: see which US cities can I target with residential proxies.

Which US home-ISP networks can I pick by ASN?

ASN holders checked on RIPEstat on 2026-10-05. The number of IPs online per ASN changes through the day.

How do rotating and sticky sessions work?

A rotating session gives each new connection a US residential IP from the pool; a sticky session keeps one IP for a time you choose. Each new connection gets an IP from the pool, usually a different one; to get a new IP on every request, send one request per connection (turn off keep-alive).

For a sticky session, add session- with any ID and ttl- with a number of minutes, such as session-cart7-ttl-20. Sticky sessions last up to 30 minutes, set per session with the ttl parameter; the IP can change earlier. Home connections drop without warning, so give every multi-step job a retry.

  • Rotate for catalog crawls, SERP sampling and price checks across thousands of URLs.
  • Stick for multi-page flows, such as a cart total or a paginated store locator.
Rotating, sticky and ZIP-level US residential sessions
# Rotating: each new connection, usually a new California IP
curl -x http://USERNAME-country-us-state-ca:[email protected]:7777 https://api.ipify.org?format=json

# Sticky: one Denver IP for up to 20 minutes
curl -x http://USERNAME-country-us-state-co-city-denver-session-run9-ttl-20:[email protected]:7777 https://api.ipify.org?format=json

# SOCKS5 with DNS on the proxy side, one Miami ZIP code
curl -x socks5h://USERNAME-country-us-zip-33131:[email protected]:7778 https://api.ipify.org?format=json

Which protocols and login methods are supported?

FiftyStateProxy residential proxies support HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) and SOCKS5. Point your tool at gw.fiftystateproxy.com: port 7777 carries HTTP and HTTPS traffic, and port 7778 carries SOCKS5. Login options: Username and password on every plan, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Sub-users with their own credentials and traffic cap. API keys you can revoke at any time. Use the socks5h scheme when DNS lookups should also happen on the US side.

What are US residential proxies used for?

US residential proxies show you a website the way a US household sees it: local results, local prices and local ads. A US residential proxy is a home broadband IP, from an ISP like Comcast or Spectrum, that relays your request as a US household. Common jobs:

  • Local SEO: Google results and map packs by city or ZIP code.
  • Price monitoring: store-level prices on public retail pages, ZIP by ZIP.
  • Ad verification: which creative runs in a given state or media market.
  • Public web scraping: large crawls with per-connection rotation.
  • Geo-testing: your own site or app, seen from each state.

Blocked on every plan: Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets the rules for every plan.

For US targets, should I pick residential or mobile?

Buy residential proxies for volume and location precision, and a mobile port when you need one carrier IP for a long session. Residential traffic is billed per GB and can be pinned to a state, city, ZIP code or ISP. A FiftyStateProxy mobile port is a T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon modem rented by the day, from $3.75/day. The full trade-off is in residential vs mobile proxies. For a ranked list of providers, see the best US residential proxies.

US residential proxies: FAQ

What is the price per GB of US residential proxies?

FiftyStateProxy US residential proxies cost $1.50 for 1 GB, $0.75/GB from 5 to 100 GB and $0.52/GB on the 1 TB plan (October 2026). No tier charges extra for state, city, ZIP or ASN targeting.

Is ID verification needed to buy US residential proxies?

No. FiftyStateProxy never asks for an ID card, a selfie or any paperwork. Login: Account-number login; email is optional.

Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?

FiftyStateProxy accepts BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. You top up at least $25, then buy any plan from the balance. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it.

Is there a free trial of US residential proxies?

No free trial — test with the 1 GB plan, paid from the minimum top-up; the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. The 1 GB plan costs $1.50 and already includes state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting.

In the United States, proxy use is generally lawful; what matters is the activity, judged under each site's terms and under anti-hacking and anti-spam laws. FiftyStateProxy blocks banking, government and payment-portal sites. Treat this as general information rather than legal advice.

Where do the US residential IPs come from?

We resell residential and mobile IPs from established upstream partner networks. Our upstream provider confirms that device owners opt in and can opt out, and that its supply does not come from seized or disrupted networks such as NetNut or IPIDEA. The partner networks are not named in public.
